David has 30 years experience in UK Commercial property and during that time he has been responsible for over 40 shopping centre purchases. Prior to setting up Edinburgh House in 2001, David was Chief Executive of Bourne End Properties plc. Now, as majority shareholder, David plays an active daily role in Edinburgh House Estates and Estama.
Tony has overall responsibility for the operation of Edinburgh House Estates and its affiliates. As a professional Civil Engineer, Tony was formerly UK Head of Construction for retailer BAA McArthur/Glen, overseeing the design and delivery of its Designer Outlet Villages throughout the UK. During that time Tony oversaw an annual development budget of £350 million and delivered over 1 million sqft of retail space. In 1998, Tony became Development Director at Bourne End Properties Plc. with responsibility for development projects across its UK portfolio. In 2001 Tony co-founded Edinburgh House Estates with David Roberts.
A former Commercial Property Banker with 9 years previous experience operating in the UK and European Senior debt Market. Bobby was based in Prague in 2005 as a senior member of an initiative to lead a research team which ultimately led to the opening of Anglo Irish Banks’ European Loan Book, lending in Germany, Czech Republic and Poland.
Having been one of the lenders to Edinburgh House Bobby joined them in 2010. He is now a Director of the company and active in all elements of the business with key responsibilities in finance as well as coordinating all lenders reporting requirements and sourcing new business expansion opportunities.
Bobby also has an active role as a Director of Estama.
Katherine has over ten years’ experience working in the retail property sector and her primary responsibility is for leading the Asset Management Department, driving value from shopping centres and ensuring their smooth running.
In recent years Katherine has been successful in repositioning under-managed retail assets into institutional product through strategic redevelopment, leasing, acquisition of third party interests and growth of non-core income.
Katherine trained at CBRE in development and agency, before moving into Fund Management with Henderson Global Investors where she worked on the Pan European Retail Fund.
Russell is responsible for the UK groups finance function, overseeing the day-today finance operations. Russell is an experienced finance professional with over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry, covering areas including asset purchase and disposal, corporate purchase and disposal, financial reporting planning and analysis, budget control, strategy formulation and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Edinburgh House in 2016, Russell was the Finance Director for ING Real Estate Development UK Ltd, the UK development arm of ING Real Estate International, with a mixed use residential and retail portfolio across the UK.
Russell began his career with Ernst and Young Zimbabwe moving to BDO UK where he focused on small medium real estate company audits and accounts preparation.
Russell is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, has a MBA from Manchester Business School, a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association and a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.
Eoin was initially employed with the main responsibility for the investment analytics across the entire portfolio of Edinburgh House Estates. He is now a Director of the company and active in all elements of the business working closely with Russell on Finance matters.
His key role is managing the risk across the portfolio including underwriting, monitoring tenant exposure and banking covenants in addition to the investor quarterly reporting, annual business plans and general portfolio analysis. On the existing portfolio, he works with the asset managers, running scenario analysis for developments and asset management initiatives evaluating the viability of the same.
Prior to joining Edinburgh House, he worked with a private investor on commercial and residential assets located in the UK, France and Ireland. This role involved the management and financing of c£400m of commercial property and development and management of c£40m residential property.
With over ten years’ experience in the property sector, prior to this, he worked with a commercial lender as a risk analyst where he was involved in the business management of the UK loan book comprising c£20bn of commercial investment and development loans. He was heavily involved in the NAMA split and preparatory work for the restructuring plan submitted to the EU.
